Someone Like You....

Here is my card for last week's bella bash...

The challenge was to make a create a card using a love song

as your inspiration.

This is what I came up with....

Someone Like You by Van Morrison.

I have always loved that song and I made this card

with my husband in mind.

The paper is from ctmh, I used my copics, stickles and

ribbon. What do you think???

(I've had the paper for over a year!!) I used my copics & ctmh markers.

Happy Tuesday!!!
Here is my card for this weeks sketch challenge this week.
I'm glued to my T.V. watching the Presidential Inauguration...
trying to get this card done!! WHEW!!!
(this will be me later....lol)

This is one of my new bellas I got the other day...(I just ordered
a few more today!! I'm officially a BELLA-HOLIC!!!)
The paper is from CTMH I colored her with CTMH inks using a
blender pen, stickles (of course) paper flowers and sentiment
is form CTMH too!!

The colors are Indian CornBlue, Dutch Blue & Spring Iris.

Here is my card for last weeks sketch and color challenge...
The color challenge was to use crystal blue, orange, chocolate and sunkiss yellow.
The twist was to use one of Jamie's sketch challenges...
So, I just used the sketch of the week...
I got this image from a swap. I think she's cute and this is
exactly what I want to be doing today!!

The paper is from DCWV paper stack. The sentiment came
from the same swap I just cut it up to make it work with
this card.

Here is my card for this weeks bella sketch challenge...

Isn't she cute? I already had her colored so it was easy
to put her together with this paper.
I hope everyone has had a better start to the New Year than I did!!
I've spent the last 10 days in Henderson, NV (about 5 miles from Las Vegas)
My Dad was there to ring in the New Year and got sick!!
He had Pneumonia...so bad he had to have surgery to remove the fluid from
his lungs!! We brought him home late Sunday. I NEVER want to experience
anything like that again!!
I hope to get caught up on my challenges...

Here is my card for Hope's BCC61
The challenge is to make a monochromatic card...
Choose any color you want and make a card.

The optional twist is to incorporate a New Year's resolution or goal.
I went with purple/lavendar for my color...the twist for me is
to use colors I wouldn't normally use. (one of my resolution/goals for this year)
