2010 Christmas Card challenge week 2

WHEW!!
I have one more week to do and I am caught up with
this challenge...
The challenge is to use traditional colors, red and green.
Pretty simple and so very easy for me to come
up with something.
I actually had this image left over from this years Christmas
cards (is that cheating? I hope not) and lots of
scraps so, I decided to use them up and get them out
before I tear into some new Holiday paper.

Christmas Card Challenge week 3

Happy Hump Day!!
So, I am working my way backwards to catch up on
the Christmas card challenge.
Whew!! I have been a very busy little stamper.

from this years cards (great way to get rid of scraps)

Christmas card challenge week 4

Happy Tuesday!!
I am back!! I am so happy to be creating again!! I have
missed my ink!!
I have so much to catch up on...one thing I am trying to
stay on top of is the Sparkle's Christmas card challenge.
I think making one or two Christmas cards a week is perfect.
This is this weeks challenge...use this picture for inspiration.
(I just want to eat them!!)

This is my card...I wanted to do something different.
I really love, love, love these colors together.

Here is the inside card (just pull it out)

The paper is really old...I've had it in my stash forever.
I will be crafting all day...I have
three more cards to make before Sunday to be caught up and
I have TONS of scrapping to do!!

Knit Beanie and Scarf...

Sorry I have not updated my blog in a few days...
I have had a migrane for the past few days (ever since
I came back from my trip to Utah)
I hope to get back to creating...at least till Friday.
I am off to Mammoth on Saturday morning and will
be there for a week so, I don't think I'll get much crafting
done. I will however get lots of knitting and crocheting done!!
Speaking of which my son told me on Sunday he needed a
red beanie and white scarf by tuesday for his choir performance.
(this was all last week before I left for my trip on Wednesday)
WOW!! I got it done!!

I sometimes have trouble balancing my craft time...
scrap, stamp, cards, knit or crochet?? I want more
time in the day to do it ALL!!

Happy Mail!!

Happy Monday!!
It's been awhile since I've posted...it was hard to post
on my blackberry while I was away visiting my Grandmother.
I arrived home yesterday (after a 3 hour delay in Las Vegas)
I am sooo glad I missed the rain!!
Anyway, I arrived home to a great surprise!!!
I receive a package from my sweet blogger friend Sparkle.
Look at all these goodies!!
Thank you so much Sparkle you made my day!!
I can't wait to play with all this stuff.

I have so many challenges to catch up on....so, I will
be stamping and inking today in between laundry and
other household chores.

Utah 2009

Having a great time here visiting my grandmother. Yesterday I was at the airport in Salt Lake City and I saw Heid Swapp!!! She is a tiny little thingm
Today my sister and I will be on the mountain skiing and snowboarding (we are CRAZY it is 19 degrees outside).
I will be going over to Hobby Lobby this afternoon....they have copics!! Whoo-hoo!! I hope to get 50 more colors!! Merry Christmas to me!!

Another Christmas card...

Here is another cute digital image from PCS.
I will be making at least one Christmas card
a day this week (I hope you don't get tired of them).
I have a few more to make and want to get them
out next week before I go on vacation to visit my
grandmother in Utah.
The paper of course is from my scraps and the sentiment
is from the dollar bin at Michaels.

Mojo Monday...

Here is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday challenge.
This is a digital image from PCS.
The sentiment is from CTMH and the paper is from two years ago!!
I have decided at the end of this year any paper I have
not used I will be giving away!! I have so much old paper
I don't think I will ever use it up.

I am so excited to start my Christmas countdown book...
Today is day 1 - I will be hanging out with my friend
Cheryl today so...I should have some fun pictures to
put in my book...I have to remember to take my camera
with me every day for the rest of this month!
