Christmas 2008 layout

Happy Monday!!
Here is a layout I've been working on...I don't know
why it's taken me so long to finish up christmas.

I think this is the last of my christmas pictures.
I used up some scraps from my christmas paper and embellishments.

Croppin Chicas

I finally got around to doing this layout!! (the picture is from
October 2008). I've had this paper forever!! I think it's
from Adorn it.

This and most of my layouts have a second page...
The second page is very easy. I use a divided 6 pocket
page protector mat the pictures on cardstock or pp
I sometimes add embellishments...it's hard to take
pictures of those pages because of the glare from the plastic.

WOW!!
I can't believe my baby girl will be 21 next month.
I have started redoing her baby book.
This is her hospital photo...she was beautiful from the
day she was born. This will be the opening page in her book.

The dp is from ctmh, chipboard letters - Tim Holtz grunge,
flowers by cricut.

Me @ 43!!

Here is a layout that should've been done 2 years ago!!
I have been wanting to scrap this for a long time...
just had no mojo when I looked at it.
I was going through my stash and found this overlay...
I love it!! I didn't have to cut on piece of paper to get this
done. How much easier can it get?

The chip board is all Tim Holtz - grunge evern the heart!
(which Jennifer gave me).
So, what do you think? The picture was kinda hard to take...
no matter how I did it I couldn't get rid of the glare or
reflection of me taking the picture (lol)

Happy Friday!!
Here is this weeks sketch.

Here is my interpretation of the sketch.


I've had this ketto for awhile now...don't know why I
haven't inked her? she is way cute.
I paper pieced her dress, I stamped her hair clip and popped
it up (can you see that in the picture?).

Another Disney layout

I totally scraplifted this from my friend Jennifer!!
(I did use different paper...just totally copied the sketch)
When I saw the layout she did...I had to!!

We have been on a circle kick for the last few weeks...
trying to get away from it...but, they come out so darn cute.
I'm glad I got this done...it's from last year!!

Those eyes...

I finally got some scrappin done!!! YAY!!!
I have been eyeing this picture of my daughter...
I knew I wanted to scrap it and I knew I wanted
to use this paper...it just took me awhile to come
up with a title and how I wanted to put it all together.

The end result...I LOVE IT!! then again, I love scrappin
pages about her. I am trying to take pictures from
different angles. Anyway, have a great day

Can you ever have enough "Thank you" cards?
I've had this stella colored for awhile...I was playing
around in my misc. scrap bin and pulled these pieces
out and came up with this card.
(I'm supposed to be scrapping a layout...I have
no mojo!!)

sweet treats!!

I went to Michaels and had to have this stamp...
(as if I needed another stamp!)
Anyway, I wanted to do something different again!!
(remember I'm trying to step out of my box)
So, I think this card is a little different from most of my cards.

I used liquid applique, liquid glass and I
"sewed" the ribbon thru the card.
What do you think?

Happy Sunday!!

So, I was playing around with some stamped images I got from
my friend Jennifer...I am trying to step out of my box and
use up some of the paper and stamps I have...I am challenging
myself to make cards other than (only) bellas. I have
so many "other" stamps that need some inky love.

You can't really see the black stickles on this card...but,
I did use some. The sentiment is from ctmh, I don't know
who this paper is by (sorry) but, don't you love it?!

YAY!!
Jamie's back with her weekly sketch challenges.
I got this stamped image in a trade...I think I need to
get her!! isn't she cute!

I'm not to thrilled with my coloring...I went out of the lines
with the yellow... tried to fix it (it didn't work).
I already had everything put together so, I couldn't just
do another one! Next time I'll color first then put together (that's
what I usually do...this time I just did things backwards).

Grillin' & Chillin' layout

YAY!! Finally a layout not a card!
I finally broke into my new bo bunny stash!! I've had this paper
for awhile...just hording it like I do! (LOL)
I really like this paper...I may have to get more!!

Everything is bo bunny except for the red letters and the
date stamp (ctmh). I have a couple more layouts to do
using this paper so, I will post tomorrow.

Congrats!!! to my friend Cheryl...
Now know as "Grandma" Cheryl.
She became a first time this month.

I got this stamped image from a swap and I thought it
was perfect for her and her hubby. First time

the challenge was to use bsc70, the twist
is to use red, white & blue in honor of flag day!

I think this bella is perfect for almost any holiday.
The sentiment is from ctmh paper is misc. scraps.
I used liquid applique for the balloons.
I think she will be on the cards I send out this year.

color challenge 222

Happy Monday!!
Here are my cards for last weeks color challenge...
The challenge was to use white and make a single layer card
(you can use another color ink but, only white cardstock).
Ugh...that was hard for me.
I've had these stamps for awhile, they are from ctmh.

I love the black and green together.

My daughter gave me the idea to stamp the girl
running across the card and I just love this sentiment.
