Tis the Season

Here is my bella a day challenge card for today...
I love this stamp!! this the first time been inked.
All the paper is from Adornit.
HMMM....I think this may be my Christmas card this year
what do you think?? I have a few more Christmas stamps to
play with so, maybe everyone will get a different one!

I colored it with tombow & copics, I used liquid applique, stickles
and liquid glass.

Vacation Layouts...

Happy Monday!!
I went to a crop on Friday night with my "Chicas"
we had a GREAT time...I finished a few layouts I've been
carrying around for the last three crops (I had NO MOJO)
So, with ALOT of help from my friend Jennifer (she ROCKS!!)
I was able to complete these.
This is the end of our trip to Cabo. The paper is from a paper pack
I got at Target...it came with the world cut out!! I used my cricut
to cut out everything else.

I love the colors on this page!!
And it was truly a vaction bliss!!

This layout is really old....I just wasn't feeling it!!
This is from Sea World (way back in May!!)

We went to the expo a couple weeks ago and took some pictures
so we challenged ourselves to scrap them...Cheryl & Jennifer have

I used scraps...the colors are very close to Marjorie's color challenge...
I think the green & blue are off a little. I had some extra flowers so
I used them.
I'm off to play today...we are having a fun girls day today!!
We are going to a LSS and then to have lunch...
and tonight we are going to an all night crop!!!
YAY!! I can't wait.

Here is my card for Hope's very first color challenge...
For Hope's first challenge she choose cranberry, sweet leaf & taffy
the challenge had a twist...use a bella you haven't inked or a bella
you haven't used in awhile.
So, I used content to be a bella (YES I am!!) she is my newest
addition and this was the first time I inked her.

I used scraps from ctmh - let's get together paper pack, ctmh markers
misc. ribbon and of course stickles.
I am using this for Jen's challenge too!! (make a card everyday using
a different bella).

Marjorie's color challenge 38

Here is my card for Marjorie's color challenge #38
This one was a true challenge for me.
The colors are juniper, ponderosa pine, desert sand & bamboo.

the pp is from ctmh - perfect day level II
desert sand & ponderosa pine cs is from bazzill,
bamboo cs is from ctmh. I used my cricut to cut
the flowers and of course some stickles...
oh yeah!! don't you love this stamp? She's from SU!!
I've had this set forever...
I'm glad I inked her up don't you love it?!

Cabo - 2008

Good Morning Ladies!!
Here are a couple layouts I did (these are from my trip to Cabo)
I can't believe how behind I am...I just have "NO" mojo when
it comes to scrapping lately! It's all about the cards...
I always said "I'm not a card maker...I'm a scrapper!" hmmm
I need to rethink that one!! Especially now that I have my
Bellas!! I can't get enough ! LOL.
This layout was pretty easy...I used some matching papers from
a paper pack I picked up at Target added the bazzill flowers and
chipboard letters I got from the expo. (for $1.00 can you believe that?!)
These pictures were taken the first night we arrived and had dinner
with my parents, my sister and her husband.

AHHHH!!! Golfing Cabo is like no other!!
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!
It is so beautiful and peaceful...(wish my game was better)
I love this big chipboard...right now I'm all about chipboard.
I can't seem to get enough.

For today's sketch challenge I went a little crazy...
I couldn't decide which paper I wanted to use (I have sooooo many scraps)
So, I used all three and made three different cards.
Which is your favorite??

For card #1 I used ctmh - let's get together paper pack level 2,
sentiment came from the dollar bin at Michaels.

Card #2 I used ctmh - boom di ada creative basics & level 2
sentiment is from ctmh - say it in style.

Finally card #3 I used misc. scraps (I don't remember who makes this paper SORRY!!)

Us - November calendar page

Here is a layout I worked on yesterday...

This is my calendar page for November. I was going through my

old papers and came across this black and white... so, I had to use

it! don't you love when you find something you forgot you have

and you just love it!!

It kinda looks like valentines day...but I love it anyway and

this picture we took on November 2 so, it is just perfect for

my calendar.

Today I Voted

Here is a layout I did for election day...
This is the first time my daughter got to vote!!
She was very excited and I was suprised to see how much interest
she took in the debates, props and issues.
There were many battles in our house, with family and friends.
I am very proud of her...she didn't just go by what others thought or
their opinions...she researched every single prop and made her
own choices. Needless to say it wasn't what other people wanted her
to vote or thought she should vote. We finally made a rule
"NO POLITICS" in our house.

I love the way this turned out...and I'm sure some day she'll look back at these pages and be very proud.

My lighting isn't very good today?! hmmm...these look
much better in person.
