Bridal Shower for Sophie

Happy Tuesday!
I have lots to post this week...I have been busy
scrapping with my friends. But, I have been a bad blogger!
Thanks for all the emails and phone calls
insisting I update my blog.
These pictures are from Sophia's Bridal Shower back
in August. I have had this layout done for a few weeks.
I think this paper is MME (sorry not sure).
Her wedding colors are black and white with a hint of pink
so, I thought this paper was perfect.

I used lots of tools on this layout. I used my cricut, ek punches
and Tim Holtz die to make the flowers.

I am so addicted to these flowers...I think I've used them
a lot this month...trying to move on and use other flowers.
(do you ever get hooked on something and use it over
and over and over?)

It is supposed to rain here for the next two days...
I love when it rains! that means comfy clothes, hot chocolate
and the fireplace!!

Celebrate 2010

T.G.I.F.
Where has this week gone?! I don't know about you all...
the weeks are just flying by!!
Here is a layout I did using CTMH. I love this paper.
I did the layout (almost) exactly as the sample.
These pictures are from March (of this year).
Every year Nancy, Julie and I go to this "Celebrate"
event at the convention center for an all day crop.

We look forward to it and have the best time ever.
I am so in my zone when I am here...I just block
everything out and SCRAP.
Here is a close up of page one.

We usually have our stuff spread out all over the place.
I think I could use two six foot tables myself!

I used my 12x12 printer to do the journaling.
I love that...it makes it so easy to journal, then I can
just scrap around it and I am done!!

My Friend Lori....

I finally got to meet my blogger friend Lori in person!!!
Isn't she beautiful!?
I went to San Francisco last week and she came up to
meet me!! We sat in the hotel lounge (sounds better than bar!)
and had a drink and got to sit in talk for about 20 minutes.
I can't wait to get back there and spend more time with
her...she is wonderful person.

Well, I am off to do some scrapbooking with Julie
& Nancy (our yearly "ALL" day scrapping event).
Hope to have lots to post tomorrow and in the
days to come.

Welcome...

My friend Jennifer and her husband just sold and bought a new home
this month. This week she has been moving!! uugghhh!!
I made this card for her...
I love this neighborhood stamp from stamping bella!!
I hope she likes it!!

She is moving about 45 minutes from us!!
I'm sure she'll be happy in her new home and she gets a
new scrap room!!

Halloween Layout

Well, I have to say this looks way better in person!!
I always love going to Disneyland at this time of year.
I scrapped this picture last night...I guess you can say I'm
working my way backwards (maybe then I can get caught up with
my scrapping?!).

The striped paper is from a halloween paper, I cut the circle
out with my cricut and the letters are thickers.
This was a fast trip to Disneyland...we got there at 9:30 am!!
We had breakfast on Main St. (that was a first...we usually make it
there for lunch).
Anyway, I am glad I got my picture!! Thanks Julie your the BEST!!

Croppin Chicas

I finally got around to doing this layout!! (the picture is from
October 2008). I've had this paper forever!! I think it's
from Adorn it.

This and most of my layouts have a second page...
The second page is very easy. I use a divided 6 pocket
page protector mat the pictures on cardstock or pp
I sometimes add embellishments...it's hard to take
pictures of those pages because of the glare from the plastic.

birthday card for Barbie

Here is a birthday card I made for my friend Barbie...
She used to be my boss...now she's my friend
(she was my friend even when she was my boss).
I don't see her as often as I would like but...I think of her often and
I always remember her birthday (that surprises her)

I love this cupcake stamp set. I used scraps from my bin...
bazzill cardstock, ctmh & basic grey. Sentiment is from
hero arts.

Artwork from my friends

Good Morning!!

I don't have any of my artwork to post today...I have so many

things started and nothing completed!!! That's my project for

this weekend...finish EVERYTHING I have started (maybe

i'll even finish my christmas book).

This is a layout my friend Jennifer did...it's from the last

Scrapbook expo...we cropped and shopped all day.

We were doing a scrap challenge (our challenge was to

scrap the pictures from that day) I think Jennifer

and Cheryl (I need to get a picture of her layout) were

the only two to do this challenge (it was my idea...go figure)

Anyway, I love the colors and this layout!!

Jennifer rocks!!!

This layout was done by Julie (she has been on a roll)

She figured out how to print different size pictures on

her printer and was so excited to share this page.

Great job Julie...keep'em coming!

It's nice to see you scrapping family photos!

And here is a cute card Julie made for her mother in law.

Way cute!! I love the color combo.

Happy Valentines Day - from Julie & Jamie

OMG!!!
I can't believe it....Julie (my BFF) made Valentine Cards...
Ok who am I kidding...she & Jamie only made TWO!!
One for me and one for Brittany!!
I feel so honored!!
(I think I guilted her into making cards...I always get on her
about not making cards...I know she's really busy with home schooling & girl scouts)
