it's a digi  from Pink Cat Studio.

I used a little stickles, some pearl bling and paper is
from American Crafts.

Christmas card challenge week 5

Happy Sunday!!
I can't believe another year is almost over!!
How will you be celebrating?  Do you make resolutions?

This weeks challenge is Use Paint.

Here is my card...
I used two different color paints and a paint brush to paint right
on my kraft paper.  I really like the way this turned out.
This is probably one of the easiest cards I've ever made!

I am hoping to get some crafting in later this afternoon.
I will be back tomorrow with a new post.

Christmas card challenge week 4

Can you believe it's the eve of Christmas eve?!
I can't...this holiday season has come fast! 
Are you all ready?  I have a few more handmade
things to put together and get some baking done then,
it's time to sit back and enjoy family time.

Here is my card.  I was happy to ink up one of my
new stamps from Sparkle Creations rubber stamps.
I LOVE this stamp image!! I am sure I will use
her a few more times (a lot more times).

Paper is from MME 6x6 paper stack, CTMH twine
and lip stamp and bells are from Michaels.

Christmas Card Challenge week 51

Happy Sunday!
We are almost at the end of this years Christmas card challenges.
WOW!! how time flies...I can't believe it's been a year!!
I am looking forward to a new year of challenges.
I am excited to announce that I will be on the design team for
another term!! (doing the happy dance)

This weeks challenge is double embossing..

Here is my card...you can't tell from this photo that
the red and white papers are embossed.
I tried several different ways to take the picture
and I could not get the red to show that it is embossed.


I love this cute image and sentiment from MFT.
Paper is from my scrap pile (I promise you it is getting
smaller by the week...pretty soon I won't even have
a scrap pile).

Well, I am off to make a few Thanksgiving cards so
I can get them in the mail on Monday morning!
I have been going back and fourth on making them or not.

It's that time of the week again!!

We are getting close to the end of this years

50 weeks!! WOW!! time flies when you are

Christmas card challenge week 48

It's Sunday funday!!
Well, it's Sunday funday at my house...my husband
is lounging on the couch watching football and I be
in my happy place (my scrap room) crafting all day.
Hope you are doing what love today.

This weeks Christmas card challenge is...

For this challenge I used some scraps from an old
6x6 echo park paper stack.  I cut this cute little
image out and popped her up on the brown card stock
(You can't really see it in this picture)

Sentiment is from CTMH.
I have been trying to color black hair forever!!
I only always color my images with black hair...because that's
the color of my hair.
I am still having trouble with the highlighting.  So, if any of you
out there have any tips, suggestions or tutorials on black hair
coloring please HELP!!

I have been on vacation for the last five days!!
My husband and I went to Cabo San Lucas
for a mini vacay!! Today is our travel back
home day...

and I tried  something "NEW" making a card
with NO cardstock or any other type of paper.
I am LOVING the look of this clean and simple card.
I will have to use this technique again!!

Christmas card challenge week 34

Hello!!
Welcome to my blog...
I have been a very busy scrapper these last couple of weeks.
I am almost done with my Puerto Rico scrapbook!!
I can't wait to start sharing my layouts with you.
I am hoping to start updating Monday or Tuesday!!
It has been my goal to finish this and NOT start or
finish any other project and believe me I have lots
started and lots to be started!!

Christmas card challenge week 33...

Emboss Resist.
WOW!! that was another challenge for me and
something I've NEVER done before!!
Of course I have all the tools and goodies
needed for this technique...just never tried
it before! I may have to try it a few more times
before I can say I love it or hate it.
Why not try it yourself and get a few

Christmas card challenge week 30

 Hello Sunday!!

It's time for a new Christmas card challenge.

This week our challenge is rolled flowers.

Here is my card.

For this card I used Art Philosophy cricut cartridge from CTMH

to make my rolled flowers (very fast, easy and fun).

I added some pearl bling in the centers.

The paper is from ep (I was tired of the same old paper I've

been using so I ran out to my local (not so local) scrap store

and stocked up on some new fun finds) it is from 

the Holly Jolly Christmas line.

Image is a digi  and sentiment is from A Muse.

I used Martha Stewart tinsel glitter for the snowman and 

fun flock for the fur on her boots and of course 

copics to color.

Happy Sunday!!

Here we go with a new challenge for the week!
This week we our challenge is to make a card using only a Sentiment.

Sentiment and ribbon are from CTMH, paper is from my
misc. scrap box. 
This was a pretty easy card to make I think I will make a few
more like this for spares.
I have been doing a lot of scrapping...just to lazy to take
photos and upload :( I am trying to get better with updating my
blog...hopefully this week will be better and I will have
a few updates.
