Thank you...

T.G.I.F.
I think I say that every Friday!!
Here is a card I made last night...I wasn't really in the mood
but, I had some scraps on my table and I had this colored already
so, I thought I'd put them together.
A very easy card!! Don't you just love when you put something
together in 5 minutes!

I have lots of images already colored and don't really use them...
I just let them sit in a pile on my desk and once in awhile
I pick them up and decide to use one.
I did pull out some SU stamps that I haven't used in
a long time...(sentiment)
I have to say Thank you to Tina...she sent me this stamped
image along with some others a few weeks ago.
Well, I hope you all have a great weekend!!
Be safe and have a Happy Halloween!
See you tomorrow.

The pictures you take...

I can't believe how fast this week has gone by...
I have had this paper forever!!
My son ALWAYS takes my camera and takes random pictures...
I love, love, love the picture he took of himself in the mirror...
my car mirror!! We were on our way home from mammoth
and decided to stop at Manzanar National Historic Site
(Japanese relocation camp during world war II).
It was AMAZING!!
I am so glad I took my kids to see this. Everyone should go!!

Here is a close up of the first page...
and once again...I used some buttons!!

Some random pictures from around the camp...
the entrance, guard station and the cemetery.
It is a beautiful place.

Well, I am glad I finally used this paper and that I finally scrapped
these pictures...and that I shared this experience with my children.
Have a great day!!!
See you tomorrow!
Happy Crafting.

Fall card class

Happy Hump Day!!
I went to a Fall copics card class yesterday at a LSS.
I (kinda) learned how to shade...hopefully with more classes
I will master it (yeah right).
I made all three cards for $20.00 and I got to keep the stamp set too!!
The stamp set sells at the store for $20.00 alone!!
Not a bad deal huh?!
All the paper was cut and ready to go...I like those kind of classes.

I think this is my favorite...at least the coloring!! I love the
way the flowers turned out.

And isn't this scarecrow too cute!?
I don't like the way the hay came out...I must work on that..
but, I do love all the colors.

So, while I was at this store I bought MORE copics (hehehe)
and a couple more stamp sets....How could I resist...
she gave me 20% off my total!!!
Have a great day...
I off to meet Julie at Disneyland today so, I hope to get
some crafting time in the evening so I have
something to post tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by.

Be glad you had the MOMENT

Happy Monday!!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
I was busy finishing up my layouts from my Friday night crop.
Here is one I {totally} lifted from a scrap magazine...it's the ad
for Bazzill...I'm sure you all have seen it. I have had it saved in my pile
for months and I finally used it.
This is a picture of four generations!!! My grandmother, my mom,
my daughter and me!! I know we all don't match but...I love this
picture!!! and the title was soooo perfect!!
I am so glad {grateful} for this moment.

For the title I used some Tim Holtz chipboard and ctmh stamps.
The flowers are Bazzill paper flowers.
The picture isn't that great...my lighting is not to good right now
because it is still dark outside so I can't open the windows.
Have a great day and week.
See you tomorrow.

Christmas Card Sunday

YAY!!
I made another card for Sparkle's Christmas card challenge.
Don't you love this sentiment? I got this free download last week.
(I am so sorry to say I can't remember the blog I got it from)
I was blog surfing and came across someone's blog and they had
this free didi download...of course I jumped on that but, I didn't
save the blog and now I can't find it. *very sad face*
It was a GREAT blog and if I come across it I will post and
let you know...or if someone out there knows please let me know.

The paper is from my Christmas stash (paper from last year)
I used my copics to color and added a couple buttons!!
(can't make a card without them now!! LOL)
Have a great Sunday!!

and two borders (well, Cheryl won one of them & gave it to me since
I bought the machine...of course we'll share).!! Not bad huh???

have the machine right??? So, I bought it!!

Hope you all have a great Saturday!!

Changito....birthday wishes!!

Can you believe how fast this week is flying??
Another new stamp set....I know this week has been preview week.
I will get back to using some of my old favorites. I think I will
be getting a few more stamps on Friday or Monday and then that
should be it for awhile...Oh wait...I did place a bella order too!!
I always need a birthday card!! I am trying to make a least one
birthday card a week. My stash is growing (lol).

I stamped this little guy on a tag I cut out from my cricut (story book)
and used up some scraps (that were on my floor). I think he
turned out pretty cute!! I used liquid applique on the cake frosting.
Have a great day...can't wait for Grey's tonight!!
See you manana!

Life is Fabulous!!

Happy Hump Day!!
So, this is another one of my fabulous stamps I ordered,
I ordered a couple of these ladies. I just love them.
I have branched out and started ordering more and more
from different companies. I still love my bellas....
There are just so many other influences out there.
I used this weeks mojo monday sketch for this card.

The paper is from basic grey "urban prairie" I so love
this paper pack and have been holding on to it...
don't we all do that when we love, love, love a paper pack?
Have a great day!!

The Great Outdoors

Here is another layout I did using a paper kit I got at the
Expo a week or so ago...again I'm glad I got this!
Sometimes using paper kits other people put together is great
cause you use colors and papers you wouldn't normally put together.
These pictures are from our summer trip to mammoth this year
(yes I am still trying to get them scrapped!!)

Here is a closeup of the firs page...I used my bazzill stitch'z on these
pages to add another dimension. I've had them forever and this is
only the second time I've used them.

and page two...these pictures were taken at Rainbow Falls.
We had to hike about 3 miles in to get here and let me tell you it
wasn't an easy hike and it was HOT!!! we were dying on the
way back but, it was so worth it! from different angles you can
see a rainbow over the water and through the falls!!
VERY beautiful.

I inked every piece of paper!! haven't done that in a long long time!!
I forgot how time consuming it was but once you start you have to finish!!
Have a great day see you tomorrow!

dashing through the snow....

Well, I didn't get this done on time for Sparkle's weekly Christmas
Card Challenge. But, at least I am getting started on my Holiday
Cards for this year!
I have a stack of christmas paper from last year that I didn't use
so, I decided it's perfect for this years cards.
Don't you love this image?! I just got her and a few others.
I have been on a roll ordering some new stamps to play with.

I used some fun flock and liquid applique for the snow and some
bling for the snowmans buttons the snowflake is a brad I had
in my stash!! Don't you love it when you can use stuff you
have and can save your money for MORE stamps??
So, I don't know how much crafting time I will have
this week but, I will try to get some done and post
as soon as I can!
Have a great Monday and hope to see you tomorrow!

Christmas in October

I was bored the other day so I went to a scrapbook store
close to my house...they had the cutest stamps!! I couldn't
buy them all (even though I wanted too!!)
I bought only a couple...because they also had copics!!!
so, I bought 5 more colors and to spica's.
Anyway, this is one of the stamps I couldn't leave without!
I just thought it was sooooo cute!!
The paper is from last year...creative imaginations.

I used some liquid applique on the letters to make it look
like snow (did I succeed?) and I used another button!!
Ok, are you sick of the buttons yet??
Have a wonderful Saturday.
See you tomorrow!! I'm off to do some more creating.

A little Caffeine...

T.G.I.F.
So, I got a little bored with my Halloween cards...
and decided I needed to do something different.
Well, this is really different for me!!
I ordered a few sets of JustRite stamps a while back and
of course they have been sitting in the stamp drawer unopened and uninked!!
I had a bit of trouble with these at first. (it took a couple of trys to
get the hang of it)

This is what I cam up with...the paper is from CTMH and I used
some bazzill scraps. I also brought out my sewing machine!!
I had a little trouble going straight!! sewing on paper is very different
than sewing on fabric!! I also decided to dig into my button stash!!
I hardly ever use them and have a ton of them...you know what
that means...buttons on everything from now on. (or at least till I
get tired of them).
Here are close ups of each card...I think they came out ok...
next time my sewing will be better.

Thanks for stopping by!!
Have a great Friday and weekend.
See you tomorrow!!

San Francisco 2009

Well, this week is almost over!!
I've been a busy little bee...I've made lots of cards and
scrapped lots of pictures (just need to take the pictures and upload them).
Here is a two page layout I did of our recent trip to San Francisco.
We did a bus tour and it took us up to the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was freezing when we went over the water!!!

Here is a close up of the first page.

2nd page closeup....

Ok...So, I kinda cheated...this paper was from a kit I got at
the Expo this past weekend!!! it was perfect!!! (at least I think so)
"It's a Good Life" seemed to fit. I think I do have a good life!!
Anyway, this paper kit was perfect because I don't think I
would have used this combo on my own!!
I love it when I step out of my box!!
Have a great day see you tomorrow.
GO DODGERS!!! (they play today)
