I scrapped all day yesterday!!

I decided to scrap all day yesterday!!
I didn't make any cards or work on any challenges!!
I have three challenges I MUST do for Sparkle's Bridal Shower...

These two pages are from 2006...(yes, I'm still working on 2006 & 2007 and maybe even
some from way back) My mom and I were making tamales for christmas (she is going to hate
these pictures!!) I'm glad I have a couple pictures from this christmas tradition. My sister's came
the next day to help...I wasn't there, I already served my time!
I tried Marjorie's idea "stick and go" It was hard to not use my cherish or imagine!!
This paper is from a pack I got at Target...I just added the flowers.

Here is another "stick and go" I'm not sure I like this technique...maybe I have to practice a little more!
I loved Marjorie's pages and I'm always happy to try a different technique.
These pictures are from April 2008 my mom and I went to Utah to visit my grandmother.
The paper is from k and Company, I used my cricut for some other words and chip board.

This layout is from Imagine...(my comfort zone LOL)
The paper I got from my lss...I don't remember who it's from...Sorry!
I used my cricut for the letters and stitching is from CTMH stamp set.

Well, that's all I have for now...I'll be back later with my
challenges for Sparkle's Shower!!
Keep scrappin & Stampin!!

BSC34 Support our Troops

Here's my card for today!!
I got the stamped image from a card swap I was in a couple months ago.
As soon as I saw it...I knew I wanted to make a "Support our Troops" card.

I used some old scrap paper I had and some metal stars I've had around forever...I added the brads in the center and then of course I added some stickles!
I colored her with CTMH inks and a blending pen.
The sentiment is from CTMH - Always Remember stamp set.
And here is the original sketch.

Why don't you come and play along!! Use

whatever you have to create a card using this sketch.

Whoops-A-Daisy

Good Morning!!!
I bought this paper pack and I wasn't sure if I would like it...I LOVE it!!
I think I like it better with black and white pictures (when I tried it with colored pictures, it was too much going on)
This layout I lifted from our Idea Book. I used chipboard letters (from Michael's)

I also used our connections club reward white daisy rub ons. The ribbon is from Michael's, I used a white pen to outline the pictures and I used white daisy ink to ink around. I have been so busy scrapbooking...I've neglected my challenges!! I must get to them. I am way behind!!!
Have a great day!!

Happy Stamping!!!

Scrap-n-Stay

Hello!!
I have had a busy couple of days!! My hubby has been out of town and I invited a couple of girlfriends over for a 24 hr "Scrap-n-Stay"
We started on Tuesday about 1:oo p.m. and scrapped until 2:oo a.m.!!! (We had a blast). We got up in the morning had breakfast and back to scrapping!! (we did take a break to go to Michael's) We scrapped until 8:30 p.m tonight...I look forward to doing it again!! Maybe next time it will be on a weekend so my girls that work can come!!! (We missed you Nancy!!!)
Here is a picture of the three die hard scrappers...
Me, Julie and Monica (Brittany and Jamie were here too!)

This is our May calendar page (finally got this done!) We used CTMH Vintage Travel level 2 paper pack. I totally lifted this from the Summer 2008 idea book (page 43) I love this layout!! My hubby wasn't in the mood for pictures on this day...I made him sit there anyway!! I think he was trying to say something when the picture was snapped...that's why "no smile" :(

Here is a close up of the right page...I used chip board letters, lots of buttons, brads, cranberry ink, simple stiches stamp set and the good life stamp set.

Left page close up...I used my cricut for the month...we are finally caught up with our calendar pages!! We will be working on June sometime this month.
I have more pictures to post here...
Julie scrapped 7 pages!! that is a record for her(LOL) keep up the great work Julie!! Jamie made 3 cards, Monica made 2 cards and I did 4 pages (it takes me forever to complete a page...I'm a perfectionist!!) I will be back with more pictures later!!
